Pictures and Biography of Badar Munir
Badar Munir was born in Swat in 1942, He was belonging to a Religious family in Swat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. His father was "Imaam" of the mosque, He sent Badar Munir to Madrasa "Religious School" for religious studies. But Badar Munir was not interested in Religious matters, therefore, Badar Munir left Madrassa very early as well as Swat. He was fond of acting. His father was very strict and was not allowing him to work in showbiz or so. Finally Badar Munir came to Karachi and started work here with Waheed Murad (Famous Pakistani Actor), slowly Badar Munir made relations with actors and directors. and when it was the first stage of Pashto film production and it was just beginning, Badar Munir presented himself as Pashto film actor to the director. Yousuf Khan and Sherbano was the first Pashto film. and Badar was the first actor who worked with Yasmeen Khan in that Pashto movies. After first film Badar Munir had been working in Pashto films for a long time, till decades. he spent his half life in this field. His son Dilbar Munir joined pashto films in the early 2005 with Arbaz Khan and Jahangir Khan. Badar Munir left Pashto films due to his health problems. and "Haqiqat" was his last pashto movies. Badar Munir died in 2010. Badar Munir was a great actor of Pashto film industry. He left a treasure of memories to his fans. He will be remember in Pashto film history.
